Join Chapter At the Soil and Water Conservation Society (SWCS), our mission is to foster the science and art of natural resource conservation and environmental management, through a combination of research, education and advocacy. Our goal is to improve the practices and capabilities of environmental managers as well as enhancing conversationalist’s professionalism. With membership in the SWCS you have the opportunity to provide your expertise and knowledge towards enhancing the society’s natural resource conservations goals. To become a member of the New Mexico Chapter, one must also become a member to the International Soil and Water Conservation Society.

The Soil and Water Conservation Society is a non-profit scientific and educational organization. The Society serves as an advocate for the conservation profession and for science-based conservation policy.
